AureliusTalent ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website aureliustalent.inand the AureliusTalent career intelligence platform (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account using Google Sign-In, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. We store your email address and display name to identify your account and personalise your experience.

Content You Submit

To provide our AI analysis features, you may submit resume text, job descriptions, and related career information. This content is sent to our AI processing pipeline for analysis and is not permanently stored on our servers after the analysis is complete. We do not use your submitted content to train AI models.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, analysis counts, timestamps, browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers.

Payment Information

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details (card numbers, bank account details) are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Razorpay. We do not receive or store your raw payment credentials. We store only a payment confirmation and plan status provided by Razorpay.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To enforce usage quotas and plan limits.
• To send transactional emails related to your account (e.g., billing confirmations).
• To analyse usage patterns and improve product features.
• To respond to support enquiries you submit.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Google Authentication

We use Firebase Authentication with Google Sign-In (OAuth 2.0) to handle account creation and login. When you sign in with Google, Google shares your basic profile information (name, email, profile photo) with us under your Google account permissions. We do not receive your Google password.

Your use of Google Sign-In is also subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use the following types of cookies and local storage:

• Authentication cookies: Set by Firebase to maintain your login session. Essential for the Service to function.
• Analytics cookies: Used by PostHog and Microsoft Clarity (see Section 5). These track usage behaviour to help us improve the product.
• Payment cookies: Set by Razorpay during checkout to prevent fraud and maintain session state.

You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings, but doing so may affect certain features of the Service.

5. Analytics and Monitoring

PostHog

We use PostHogfor product analytics. PostHog collects anonymised event data about feature usage, user flows, and session behaviour. This helps us understand how the product is used and where to improve. PostHog's privacy policy is available at posthog.com/privacy.

Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarityfor session recording and heatmap analysis. Clarity may record mouse movements, clicks, and page interactions to help us identify usability issues. Input fields containing sensitive information (such as resume text) are masked. Microsoft Clarity's privacy information is available at privacy.microsoft.com.

Google Cloud / Gemini AI

AI analysis features are powered by Google Gemini running on Google Cloud infrastructure. Content submitted for analysis is processed by Google's AI systems under our service agreement with Google Cloud. Google does not use this content to train its models under our enterprise agreement terms.

6. Payment Processor

Razorpay

All payments are processed by Razorpay— supporting UPI, net banking, cards, and wallets. Payment details are collected directly by Razorpay's secure checkout modal. We receive only a payment confirmation and order identifier. Razorpay's privacy policy is available at razorpay.com/privacy.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or tax compliance purposes.

Submitted content (resume text, job descriptions) processed for analysis is not stored persistently and is discarded after the analysis response is returned.

Billing records are retained for a minimum of 7 years as required by Indian tax regulations.

8. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Service providers necessary to operate the Service (Google Cloud, Firebase, Razorpay, PostHog, Microsoft Clarity).
• Law enforcement or government authorities where required by law.
• Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where you will be notified.

9. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate personal data.
• Request deletion of your account and personal data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

10. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit, secure secret management via Google Cloud Secret Manager, Firebase security rules restricting data access, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, contact us immediately at aureliustalent.support@gmail.com.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

13. AI Processing

When you use AureliusTalent's intelligence features, your resume text and job description text are sent to Google's Gemini API for AI-powered analysis. This data is processed under Google's commercial API agreement, which prohibits Google from using your data to train AI models. AureliusTalent does not store your resume or job description text after the analysis is complete — only the structured results are retained in your account.

14. Data Retention & Deletion

Your account data (usage records, saved analyses, and billing information) is retained for as long as your account is active. Usage records are automatically purged after 13 months of account inactivity. You may permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from your Account Settings page. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
